Method of Procedure (MOP)

Follow these instructions for installing and configuring OCCAS:

Preinstallation

Follow these steps:

  • Install Java 11
  • The database preinstall package is not available for AWS Linux 2003; follow the manual process for creating the 'oracle' user
  • Configure X11 on the AdminServer
  • There is no local firewall in the AWS environment

Installation

Follow these steps:

  • Use the GUI installation

Patching

Follow these steps:

  • You can skip the prerequisites to determine the WebLogic and OCCAS versions; We are using OCCAS 8.1.0.0.0 and WLS 14.1.1.0.0.
  • Download and install the latest WLS patches
  • Download and install the latest OCCAS patches

Configuration

Follow these steps:

  • Use the GUI configuration wizard to create the OCCAS domain
  • Create the boot.properties files
  • Start OCCAS from the command-line

Node Manager

Follow these steps:

  • Create a Node Manager domain
  • Add the previously created OCCAS domain to Node Manager
  • Edit the Node Manager properties file
  • Create machines and modify the servers via the AdminServer console

Startup Scripts

Follow these steps:

  • Create the WebLogic startup script on the AdminServer
  • Create the Node Manager startup scripts on all servers

Security

Follow these steps:

  • Create a new identity keystore
  • Load the Genesys certificates into
  • Secure WebLogic
  • Skip the steps: Securing Node Manager, Securing Coherence and Securing SIP

BLADE Installation

Follow these steps:

  • Prerequisites
  • Compilation
  • Install the FSMAR
  • Load the shared libraries
  • Deploy the transfer application
